Meet Our Owner
Kawika Dowsett
Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kawika learned the value of hard work early on, ranching alongside his father. His passion for construction began at a young age, leading him to earn his contractor’s license at just 21 years old.
After gaining valuable experience working with major construction teams across Hawaii, Kawika founded Imagine Development in 2000 with a vision to blend craftsmanship, innovation, and island values.
Today, he continues to lead every project with the same dedication, ensuring that each home reflects the highest standards of quality — and the warmth of Hawaiian living.
